FAQs
Hopefully these answer any questions you may have, if you have another please get into contact via email, socials or phone.
What's the best to clean my piercing?
Sterile saline or plain running water should be the only things you use to clean your piercings. Saline should not be attempted to make yourself and only ever purchased in sterile containers. I sell my favourite brand of saline in shop - Neilmed 77ml &177ml spray bottles at £8-13.
How much does it hurt?
Whilst different piercings have different pain levels we cannot tell you how much something will hurt as everyone feels things differently. What we can assure you is that it'll be super quick and we take many measures to reduce pain such as super sharp needles, the use of sterile gel to help things slide through and a comfortable, relaxed environment.
Can I bring my own jewellery?
Unfortunately not, we cannot be assured that it's high quality, mirror finish and has the right connection to the taper pins we use. We are happy to change over healed piercings over to your own jewellery if it's of a good quality.
Do I have to book?
Services like laser and fillers will require booking. Piercings and jewellery changes you do not have to book but it is best to avoid disappointment. We both work part-time and sometimes unable to come in and will schedule off on the booking system. If we have someone in you may have to wait outside or in the tattoo shop.
Do you pierce with rings?
From experience we do not pierce with rings, it's not worth the complications. We do pierce daiths and septums with rings and horseshoes.
Where can I park?
St Ives has very, very limited free parking. However, there are many places to park in the paid car parks - Globe Street and Cattle Market.
Methods of Payment
You are able to pay via card or cash, upon booking you are able to pay upfront for the basic service.
